Grammy award winner Ashanti executive produces and stars in “STUCK” a new musical drama coming to theaters April 19th 2019. Ashanti stars alongside Amy Madigan, and Giancarlo Esposito as Eve.

Ashanti isn’t just executive producer she also helped write on the musical during her solo record, which she helped to make more stylish. “[Stuck] shows that we’ve all gone through situations where we may not be thinking the best while going through situations with other people, dealing with racism, feeling different, or feeling frustrated in the moment.” – Ashanti
Last year on The Breakfast Club Ashanti announced she was working on “STUCK”, but hadn’t publicized it again until her exclusive with Entertainment News. Apparently “STUCK” was filmed late 2016 into 2017 and its finally coming to theater.
STUCK is – An original pop musical film about six strangers who get stuck on a New York City subway together and change each others lives in unexpected ways written and directed by Michael Berry, with music by Riley Thomas.
