Ciara performed her latest single “Thinkin Bout You” at the 2019 Billboard Music Awards. It was her first live performance of the hit pop song and she delivered an unforgettable performance.
Ciara’s performance outfit was a clear ode to Janet Jackson. Janet, in her “Alright” music video, wore similar clothing, a stripped suit and fedora hat, which could be interpreted as an ode to Michael Jackson as well. Even though Ciara lip synced much of the performance, it was well worth it watching her sharply execute each dance break down.
Ciara’s performance was solid. From getting low with Taylor Swift, to an iconic ending, Ciara continues to win.
