The film has already been shot! After “Hamilton” finishes its Broadway run in 2021, the world will be able to see the musical for the price of a movie ticket, that many paid $500 a seat for!

According to Deadline, Disney purchased the already shot film for worldwide distribution rights for 75 million dollars, making it one of the largest acquisitions in history!

The movie will be the same length of the play, two hours and forty minutes. And since Disney launched its streaming service; Disney+, we’re sure it’ll make its debut there as well.

Just imagine you being able to see one of the greatest musicals on Broadway, in your living room! It’s never been done before!

Deadline Says;

“Director Tommy Kail directed both the stage version and the movie, which consisted of shooting three live performances, and also some setup shots without an audience. All of the footage was used to create multiple angles, to ensure the cinematic nature of the event, without a bad seat in the house.”
