HOW KINGS DO IT
Wissam Al Mana, Janet Jackson’s Husband pens an open letter via his personal website to his wife thanking her for her love. The letter comes after much speculation that the two are divorcing, while many believe this letter is a farewell, it reads like a thank you and a continued show of support in marriage.
Until Wissam or Janet says they are actually divorced, let’s view this letter as is, love. Wissam is Muslim, and in the letter he used some language from the faith that leads us to believe the marriage may go on. Either way, the media, unlike TheBLACKMedia will try to make things seem ugly and bitter, but leave it to a King and a Queen to show us how to do it, whatever “it” is.
Wissam Al Mana Open Letter:
L O V E
“To the most beautiful person in the world, thank you for
your divine love, your eternal support and for being my
best friend. I love you so much, inshallah
we will be together in the Great Forever x”
To analyze the letter, this appears to be a letter thanking Janet for the successful pregnancy and baby, and time spent together. Using one of Janet’s records “The Great Forever” to end the letter shows his immortal place in her life. Saying to Janet “I love you so much…” isn’t something divorcing people usually say. “Inshallah we will be together…” meaning if Allah wills it we will be together in the great forever. Doesn’t sound like something you’d say to someone you’re divorcing. If it was, it would be weird to say, even though we are divorcing in death we will be together if Allah wills it….what are your thoughts?
