Wanda Byrd To Sue TBS, CNN And Time Warner For Racial Discrimination

Wanda Byrd is suing TBS, CNN, and Time Warner Cable for racial discrimination. Wanda plans on extending her lawsuit to a class action against each company about the advancement of people of colour, or lack there of. Wanda, who worked for TBS for over 10 years says she was denied advancement, no person of color extends beyond lower tier jobs, and Black people have to work three times as hard as White employees for lesser pay, and positions.

Even though neither of the companies have responded Wanda plans on getting to the bottom of this; ‘According to docs, obtained by TMZ, black employees at TBS have a significantly lower promotion rate than Caucasians — and zero people of color ever obtain the title of senior VP or higher. Byrd goes further, saying the company segregates … keeping most black employees in certain divisions that she calls “less powerful and non-revenue generating.’

“Byrd says in her suit there is a dramatic difference in pay between blacks and whites — and African-Americans have to work 3 times as long as Caucasians to receive any type of promotion.”

In 2017 a judge threw out a racial bias suit against these same companies. There appears to be truth here, either way, racial discrimination is not accepted anywhere, #TimesUp on that!
